Through the Pioneer and the Eight of Swords, this week we’re being called to explore new inner terrain by breaking free from the mental limitations that have held us back.
How perfect! The Pioneer as key and the 8 of Swords as lock! I really need to start consulting with you for imagery ideas before I write these posts. You always come up with the most perfect thing! 🤗❤️🤗
Oh the combinations are limitless! What a fun combo here! For me the Pioneer is the key. The 8ofS, the lock. I am fascinated by the 8ofS in that even though she is bound and surrounded by swords, there is a way out if she wants to take it. The Pioneer again as the key, unlocks this pattern that keeps her/me/us bound. Revealing new panoramas to explore.
I love the 8 of Swords with the Pioneer. I have also seen the 8 of swords similar to you. She is blindfolded. I always recall that is perhaps the same girl from the 2 of swords, just with more issues. She can make her way out of the loose ring of swords (negative emotions, decisions, outside infuences, etc.) but must find her way out of the darkness of the blindfold to do so. That pioneer archetype is beautiful here - her wild adventure through her unconscious/shadow must lead her to the light. Wouldn't it be wild to connect this to the moon card, whereby she is the crab emerging?
Oooh, I love the connection to the Moon! The Pioneer with the 8 of Swords does feel Moon-y. The Pioneer leading to the shimmering, hidden path in the dark woods.
The 8 of Swords and swords as guideposts rather than threats. I am reminded of the movie “The Labyrinth” and the heroine walking with her guide down a path lined by large stones that call out false alarms. Fear can freeze us and it is easy for me to forget that warmth awaits inside.
Hi Shana! 🤗 I LOVE The Labyrinth! I must've watched it a thousand times. I remember those false alarm stones. And Hoggle says something like, "You get a lot of false alarms in the labyrinth, especially when you're going the right way." How perfect is that for this pair of the pioneer and 8 of swords?! Thank you SO much for this brilliant insight! ❤️
