The moon is one of my favorite cards! Jenna, I feel you nailed the joining of these two archetypes. The teacher needs to let go of the notes, book, lesson plans and order. Letting it all dissolve into the wild unknown. Which is challenging, this holding to outer knowledge is what we are taught to do and be. The Moon invites us to move from the wild within, connecting to the deep mysteries and the otherworlds. Here we need to trust our own instincts, while this feral land writes wisdom in our souls, hearts, blood and bone. I too feel uneasy... I tend to dance between the two. Yet the call into the landscape of darkness is strong, and it is primitive and savage, but it is also communal and interconnective. Yep this is a powerful pairing!

This resonates deeply right now. The pull of the dark and the wild is so strong for me, and I love how you pair these two and describe the teacher being open to receive. Potent!!

Thank you so much, Lizzie! 🤗💖 I love the phrase you use here: the pull of the dark and the wild. I've been really feeling that too!

I never knew there was a Moon card, how interesting. The vision you wove of the Teacher and Moon walking together is very powerful and when you said you felt both excited and uneasy it means you have landed in the right spot. I believe that when we occasionally live between fear and excitement we are tapping into our highest power, the one that nudges us farther along the path than we would go if we don't allow ourselves to go to that place.

Yes, that's so true! After reading your comment here, I've spent some time contemplating my relationship with excitement and I think you're exactly right. There's always a bit of unease built into the excitement. Allowing oneself to feel excited is an act of vulnerability and that almost always leads us to the right path. Thank you, friend, for sharing this wisdom! 💕

Oh this is perfectly aligned with the knowledge coming to me from the 7 day connecting with my guides ✨✨✨. Yesterday I asked what is it I can learn from them (Day2), or what they are here to teach me - and this morning just before reading this, it came to me - Faith and Trust!!!! And then this reading !! Thank you Jenna for your teachings - Thankyou 🙏🙏🙏

❤️❤️❤️ YAY! This just made my day, Cathy! 🤗 I LOVE that the archetype/tarot pull for this week aligned so perfectly with the wisdom from your guides. Faith and trust...how absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for sharing this with me!

This sounds more like The Hermit Archetype, IMO. 🙂

For sure! I can totally see that. The Teacher and The Moon together really do melt into The Hermit. Love that, thank you, Janet! 🤗 One of the things I love about the archetypes is how fluidly they can flow into one another. I'm actually working with an artist to create our own deck of archetype cards and we're wanting the focus to be on this fluidity and relationality among the archetypes rather than having them be so hard-edged or distinct.

Oh that's wonderful, Jenna! How many cards/Archetypes are you aiming for? What a cool project…

Thanks, Janet! I’m really excited about it. We’re aiming for 64 archetypes, 8 in each of 8 “suits”. My original list was hundreds long, but I knew that wasn’t practical. Then I tried to make it 78 to match the tarot, but in the end that’s not what the deck wanted. It definitely has a mind of its own and I’m simply trying to be the channel for what wants to come through.

That's awesome! Can't wait to see what you come up with. 😀
