This is interesting Jenna, everything you write is but this is something that touches a situation, albeit a physical rather than metaphysical one, that I deal with regularly. I am not a hoarder, I would give away my last penny if I thought it would bring a smile to sadness, and, yes, I would steal that food to feed my family or any other that I might find needy... but through all this, shining through my unknowledgeable thinking is the word ‘trust’. Or mistrust more accurately. Perhaps, like my husband, people who stockpile and hoard are people that have a high level of mistrust, either in themselves or others ? It is a safeguard against disappointment perhaps ? Does that translate to you, or am I running on the wrong track... ?

I am loving and learning from your knowledge... thank you for these, I truly enjoy reading and the attempt to slide the cards into physical life... 🙏🏽🤍🍂✨

Wow, this is great insight, Susie! Trust is definitely a factor with these cards. A lack of trust in the future even. And maybe it's even about a misdirected trust...trusting in our stockpile instead of recognizing our true source. I think you really hit on something here! Scarcity mindset is, at the root, a lack of trust. Thank you so much for this, Susie!

So good Jenna, I’m not feeling into the thief just yet, but the scarcity one is pressing all the buttons. It’s the letting go of old versions of me, so I can experience all that is here for me. It feels expansive and liberating. Thank you! 🙏💫

I'm so glad that letting go feels expansive and liberating! I love this, thank you, Louise! When I frame it that way, it feels like dropping a burden or anchor, like I can relax my shoulders and take a big breath.

Yes, what you’re saying is true. We all know about death, yet we take it for granted. We need to become aware more

Yes, the thief and the 4ofP makes so much sense together. For me the holding back, keeping things tight is directly related to how grounded I am into life. And how connected I am with the flow. The minute I follow a contracted thought pattern, story, trauma...down the rabbit hole into clinging tight. This mostly shows up as worrying about finances, even when things are fine. Loved the questions that you asked, good ones. I think I can so No to them. And is there a time where theft is justified? I would say rarely, but lets not go blind here either, each situation needs to be weighed.

Thank you, Julie! I hear you on the contracted thought patterns. For me, it's usually health related. If I follow a contracted thought, I easily find myself getting smaller and tighter, clinging to my own energy and many, many supplements. Lol. (I don't know why that made me laugh, but there you have it.😁)

This is wonderful, thanks An! I love any endeavor to normalize psychic experiences. I'm so glad that seems to be happening more and more often.

Interesting post! In a lot of fairy tales stealing something is seen as a positive move like you describe here. It’s an act that reveals a certain level of wits in relation to higher powers.

Ooooh, fascinating! Prometheus and Robin Hood come to mind right away. Stealing in order to shift the balance of power. Thanks, Jen, this is a brilliant insight!

I do not fear transformation, I fear humanity hating.

I like this as I have issues with money and jobs... and i could be hoarding not being worthy of money and or abundance...... but I think there is much more to it... I have to think on it, almost like others instilled that on me... I wonder if that is the lesson I had to learn... hmmmm.. and I could be working against my self unknowingly ...hmmm interesting..

I totally agree...there are so many possible layers to all of this. If it feels good to share, I'd love to know if you get any more insights.

Death is the ultimate thief

Expand full comment

It sure can feel that way, can't it? Death's cold hand can come in and rob us of stability and joy, and even wholeness. And, as with the light side of the thief, Death helps us to know what truly has value. It makes me wonder, if there wasn't Death, how much would I value life itself?

Expand full comment

not really... you have to heal your grief in the situation that you are dealing with. death is not just about the loese of a loved one it can be many things. but death can bring transformation . why are you afraid of transformation? so your energy right no is that you are stuck on the death card 13- you are hoarding that energy... you need to release it and let it go. and you will be much better in your case you have to heal your grief first... hoarding grief keeps people from being happy and instead being depressed they are feeling depressed but arent actually depressed.
