This is the most wonderful wonder I’ve read today a Jenna... joy as a container word - a container of joy where a little can be drunk every day to top up depleted levels... how perfect..!! ✨
I love that you are/were a facilitator for The Desire Map, I'm a big Danielle LaPorte fan (a fellow British Columbian!).
I open myself to greater joy and welcome your assistance. This year I am invoking EXPANSION (I was thrilled when this came to me in a recent meditation), which includes all things that help me feel good. This is a beautiful downloadable pack, thank you so much Jenna❤
I love expansion! And thank you for telling me that so I can support you in invoking it. ❤️ I'm invoking "being in love with my life" (I can't think of a more succinct word or phrase to capture that feeling, so there it is.) It doesn't surprise me at all that you know the Desire Map. It's pretty amazing, isn't it? If I had to pick only one tool of the thousands I've learned over the years, it would be the Desire Map. Knowing how we want to feel really is the most potent form of clarity that there is. And then we can simply make choices to generate that feeling. I love it!
I agree. It's a backward model from what our culture pushes - to focus on the goal and the outcome, on the external things. Bringing it inside ourselves to choose from how we want to feel is a more sacred, quiet journey that seems to resonate deeper.
I think 'being in love with your life' is perfect because it is a guidepost for decision making. It's similar to expand because we can ask ourselves if this particular action guides us to that purpose and, in the end, it will be quite straighforward.
Oh Jenna! I love the idea that Joy is a Container Word. I felt I had to write that as a proper noun, as it feels that it is somewhat Important, somewhat Special, somewhat MAGICAL. It feels as though the Container of Joy is as magical as the Cauldron of Life.
My Container of Joy is a beautiful rainbow coloured bottle with a cork lid and a beautiful purple ribbon tied around it. When you hold it to the light it is iridescent and glistens with moonlight and sunbeams, rain drops and dew drops. When you gently shake it it looks like a cloud that is ready to spread out and offer rainbow light all around the place. And then if you poured some in to your tea, for example, you would breathe out soo deeply that your heart would feel as though if you took your last breath you would die happy, fulfilled and that all you had to do was done.
Oh my gosh, I wish you could see my face as I read this! 😮🥹😍🤗 Your Container of Joy is magical perfection. Genius! I can't adequately put to words how much I love that you created an image of this container. I'm going to meditate on this and report back with what my Container of Joy looks like. Thank you, Sam!
Joy Joy Joy! Hmmm, Jennna's Joys. That is what this post felt like! Joy for me also seems like a "container" word. I had not thought of that word before, but it fits! For me, Joy seems to stand alone from other emotions, as love does. They both seem to be more realities, presences, rather than emotions. So JOY as a container, I love it! And magical too! It lights up the world. Agree whole heartedly.
Also appreciate your generous downloads, They are wonderful!
Jenna's Joys...I love that! 💕 And, oh yes, love is definitely a container too. I completely agree with that. I am sending you love and blessings that 2024 is filled to the brim with Julie's Joys!
Joy is sufficient for me. Surely it's energetic and good for us. Enlivening might be a synonym.
I've been wanting to express my appreciation for your writing. I don't have a need for magic, tarot or any kind of practice except for plain meditation. But I enjoy your questions and lovely energy. I hope you will see that you are enough!
Oh, Julie, thank you so much for your kind words! 🤗❤️ I love your writing too, your poems are exquisite. And the word Enlivening is wonderful! I'm going to let that one roll around in my heart today. Enlivening. That feels good!

Thank you so much, Susie! Yes! Little sips of joy throughout the day. What a perfect image. ❤️
