Jenna, I’m just now coming to this (due to a wonderful share from Louise, thanks Louise!) -- that resource pack!! Holy cow, it’s amazing!!

In the absence of private messaging on Substack, I have to ask here: it’s incredible that you are offering it for free. And...the marketer in me thinks all that work merits putting it behind a paywall, as it’s worth a significant investment of your time. Is that something you’ve considered? Truly, it would be worthy of paying for!

Thank you, Carrie! 🤗💕 I love that you see the value in this! I was initially going to put the downloadable packs behind a paywall, but then had the potent sense that I didn't want to exclude anyone. On the downloadable pack posts, I put a reminder request that if people can afford to upgrade to paid, I'd really appreciate it if they did. I just had my three-month substack anniversary, so maybe I'll re-evaluate at the six month mark. Thank you so much for bringing your marketer's eye to this!

Thoughts, mindset, fluidity, and magic, what a wonder you have given here to contemplate. As I consider the thoughts that move through my being, I see magic as the power and attention I put on them. That is both good news and awful news. I can nurture myself or rip myself apart. My words can be a hex or a prayer. Both work the magic of thought into experience and expression. It is coming to a conscious awareness of what is working behind the scenes. Then choosing the filter I give them. The ideas, beliefs, opinions, views, that I give my loving energy to. I can choose to send care and kindness to shame. I can focus on slowing down and opening to the moment. I can choose to honor my creativity and follow it!

This is SO potent, Julie, thank you! In reading your words, I could feel the current of infinity flowing around me and towards me, awaiting me to choose my filter so it can then become my experience. That feels like true empowerment. Mindset IS the filter. And you are so right that we can choose the qualities and behavior of the filter. Oh my gosh, so powerful! Thank you again!

Hey Jenna,

I'm late to comment, but I've been following along, and jumped in on last month's focus. I can't say I followed strictly, but there were two things that popped for me, the first being the morning ritual - I undertook a revival of a very simple single t'ai chi form someone shared with me after joining in a public demonstration having wanted to learn for so long before that time. It always makes me smile and I'm trying to add a vocalisation I heard in Spain that my upstairs neighbour used to shout out to the world every morning. That always brought a smile to my face too. The action takes only a minute, but it sets me up for the day in that more connected, aware way that I wouldn't be otherwise.

The second was, wow, the tarot exercise. I got so much inner clarification that I really didn't expect. I second Julia's sentiment, your booklets are beautiful. The gift of your time and effort has really made me commit even if at my own pace. I would love to go back to the beginning this month, but I would also like to feel part of what your community is working on too, so am looking forward to focusing on mindset during November. The collective over individual seems to be a running theme through the Substacks I've been engaging with.

Obrigada, Jenna!

Thank you, Safar! This warms and fills my heart! ❤️ I love that your morning ritual involves movement. I've felt called to add some movement to mine over the last few weeks too. Just kind of letting my body make air sculptures. There's something about including my body that really deepens the feeling of connection. And vocalisation! I'm going to try that next, thank you for the suggestion. I do make a practice of speaking out loud to whatever spirits I'm connecting with, but the idea of a purposeful shout in morning ritual feels so right. Please know that whatever pace and order for working through the booklets feels right to you is absolutely perfect. I'm so honored and grateful that you are part of this community!

Air sculptures! Love it 💃

I did a dance workshop once where we used our own vocalisations as the accompaniment to the choreographed dance. She started with trees, like the sound of rootedness, the lightness of the breeze in the leaves... It was wonderfully freeing.

I do love what you wrote- "our mindset is fluid".. And then you wrote "awareness feeds the power of choice." .That makes me think...what am I thinking? what am I feeding my thoughts, my mind, my consciousness. I saw a picture of my thoughts in the fluidity of water and I note how they react to the water...do they drown because they are too heavy, too stale, too fake? Do they float because they are too light, too airy, too day dreamy? Or do they merge with the water and feed it, cultivate it, nurture it....

Oh how liberating that is... Oh how wonderful that is...Oh how empowering that is. You wrote it in terms of magic, yet it so relates to life in general too. And when said together it feels like a sacred spell to the heart and mind, to the dreams still to create and those that are being created, to the mind and body and to the all of everything.

Thank you Jenna. Thank you.

Wow, Sam, this is so profound! Oh my goodness. I'm going to print out your comment here and carry it with me on my travels today. The vision of thoughts and how they respond in water is really amazing. That's the best practice for mindset cultivation I've ever heard of. And then I love that you brought it back to being a spell to the heart and mind. Just wow. Thank you for your wisdom!

Jenna, thank you so much for referencing my work! It means a lot to me.❤

I am SO excited about this month. Mindset and how it relates to magic is an utterly fascinating idea and I commend you on it. I look forward to diving in because I recognize I was much more attuned to ritual and formal magic in the first half of my adulthood, after which things seemed to shift.

I think that's for two reasons: firstly I entered the scientific community as a result of my chosen career path and was very focused on research and measurable outcomes so drifted away from the unknown. I never stopped recognizing its worth and existence, rather it wasn't a part of my everyday. Bigger than that was a slow, nuanced increase in emotional maturity (I hope🤣) and a deepened spirituality so that it became who I am at all times without as much need of ritual to seek it out.

My soul longs for more though which is why I am gravitating so strongly to your work. I appreciate your thoughtful, not flaky, approach to magic and I look forward to exploring it with you.

Thank you, Donna! I'm so happy to be on this journey with you. ❤️❤️ I've been on a similar path in my life and had a long span of time when ritual didn't feel necessary for me. I believe I turned back to ritual when my practices became more devotional in nature. Just like I need to cultivate and nourish my marriage, ritual is a way for me to take care of my relationship with spirit. And, just like you said above, it does seem to help my soul feel fulfilled. One thing I hope for with these downloadable packs is that they support a more relational way of being. I know everyone's practice is unique so I try to include a few different kinds of activities and some might actually be flaky 🤪😅 Just skip those ones! Lol!
