Jenna,

First, I am stirred to the gift of tears and a quivering heart to read what you have so generously offered—not only your version of spirit writing, but was revealed. There is much my mind would be inclined to say. I refrain to stay close to the essence of what you have shared from the essence from which you have shared. . . . Sometimes, we are hushed. This is one of those times.

On the more “practical” side of things, I have learned from your practice and will take this into my own, and with gratitude.

With love,

Renée

This is wonderful, Jenna! I do something very similar, sometimes - first I write the question, then a brief meditation so I can still my own thoughts, and let the wisdom answer emerge. 🩷

I have often done this without ever really thinking what I was doing, or realizing that I was letting my guides speak to me. Thanks for the reminder and for the inspiration to practice this simple ritual more often! xx

Unreal, I JUST learned about automatic writing and gave it a shot in my latest post! Someone pointed me to Michael Sandler’s method. It’s been fruitful so far but your messages are so much more coherent 😆 hope mine can get there someday!

Such a beautiful and simple manner to connect with Spirit. I have done similar over the years. Recently, I have created guided meditation audios in the same manner. Also, video lessons when I was not sure what needed to be said. I tend to call it Inspirit Writing (Speaking) but all the same to me. In-Spirit.

Hi Melissa! ❤️ I LOVE the term Inspirit! Thank you for sharing that! Inspirit...it leads right to the word inspiration. This is beautiful!

I do this style/type of writing too. Much the same way you described here. Asking a question, interpreting a dream. I also do this with my posts at times. Just start writing and see what wants to come out, what topic is asking for a deeper dive. Lately I have been doing this more and more with my poetry. I will start writing on a subject, till something begins to take form and then go from there.

I find it fascinating how asking a question in my head can go around and around, but get it on paper and it becomes more to the point and clearer.

I so agree! If I just leave a question rattling around my head, I get stuck in mind loops. But bringing it into tangible form actually allows for some kind of flow towards resolution. I love that you are doing this kind of process with your posts and poetry. I find this incredibly inspiring. Thank you for sharing that!

Brilliant! 🌟 I have done this practice since I was a child but never really considered it spirit writing. Although sometimes it clearly is coming from a different place inside of me than my mind. This is also similar to how inner child work can be done as well. Great post! 🙏

Thanks, Rebecca! 🤗 Oh my goodness, I love the idea that inner child work can be done this way too. That is so powerful, thank you!

I 'ave been brought into ye now of this tyme by manner similar to these. Some may refer to "channelin" but we bee callin' it"methode acting", whiche, in truthe bee much ye same thing.

One personalitie removes themselves from ye spaces of ye mind to allow for another man to step themselves in. In tymes of grate distresses & dangers of spiritul sorte this can bee a needful thynge, &in tymes of tyranny whiche doth threaten all spiritul truthe, &where those as seek ye paths of hate & warrefarre bee drivin' all te madness & breakin' of lyves, we levellers shalle always bee answerin' such a call. For always freedome demands vigilance & ye willingness te face ye violence of those with tyrannical ambitiones. Myne host is not of a mind te seeketh violence, he bee of a mind te avoid it at all turns. I doth not seeketh violent means neither, but am happy te bee placed in such harms way for sake of liberty, & protecshun of ye harmeless peacable free born folk should need arise!

Good sir, your profound observation doth indeed resonate with mine own. The fluidity of personae, much like the flow of an actor's performance, holds the key to unlocking the depths of our being, leading to a life enriched by fulfillment and understanding. I am humbled by gratitude to you, fairest fellow. Thy words have enriched this discourse and are like balm to my weary soul.

I love love love this practice Jenna, I’ve done something similar when like you say you just want a clear answer. I actually find this process quite therapeutic and this is the perfect reminder. It’s always wonderful to get an insight into your connection to spirit. I find it beautiful and inspiring. 💫🙏

Thank you so much, Louise! ❤️ Now that you mention it, I find it really therapeutic too but hadn't consciously put it in those terms. Thank you so much for bringing that! I've been thinking about you and hoping all the moving and new life activities are going well. 🤗🙏💕

I love this 💕 As you say, it's so simple and quick. Or it can be, especially when you are fairly confident and experienced in this practice. Or when you are tuned into 'working with spirit' in any other way already...

As a beginner, when starting out many years ago, I remember it could take a while to get an answer... If that's the case, I learned, it can be helpful to write in twilight. That's another way to switch off the rational mind and stimulate an answer from the spirit realms.

Your samples are excellent illustrations. Thank you for the reminder of using writing in this way 💕🙏

Thanks, Veronika! I love the suggestion of doing this in twilight. Liminal times and spaces are excellent conduits.

I found this very useful. The responses you got up your dream make so much sense - it brings to mind the Judgement card in Tarot. ✨

Thank you, Trudi! Yes, the Judgement card...that's exactly what my dream was like. I was in a bathtub in a grave and then heard a loud sound and stood up suddenly. You're so right, that's just like the Judgement card.
