I really struggle with maintenance, so am eager for 3-in-1 insights! Imbolc is a great way to initiate ritual for the month, so I'm happy to be back on board with you all again.

I've been inspired by your archetype/tarot posts and and have started a more consistent daily ritual with a single tarot card. It's been enlightening, and I'm gaining increased appreciation for their symbolic depth and what can be learned from them.

Hi Safar! I love that you're doing a daily draw of a single card. I feel like I learn the most from the cards that way. Really sinking into one card at a time. Interestingly, I seem to get something new from the cards each time. It's an ever-unfolding language. Speaking of maintenance, I have been quite remiss in maintaining my postcard practice the last couple weeks. My hope is to send one today, though. It's such a beautiful thing you've brought to substack and I'm so grateful to be part of it!

The postcards are so beautiful and we learn so much through them. I'm glad I started it too.

I'm finding that getting some new angle on a previously drawn card in light of the 'now' card. Understanding and insight deepens as you progress.

Thank you so much for your downloadables, Jenna. They are so well-designed and interesting to follow.

Thank you so much beautiful soul, it’s been a ghastly two weeks, I have shed many tears in sadness and anger. I have finally found a temporary home for my returned ram, just until I have secured the field against all possible predators and found two more ladies to keep him company. I feel calmer and more able to look ahead at last... sending a hug from my hill 🤍xx

Ooh maintenance... now there’s a word I skirt around as often as possible... I am a terror at leaving those jiggly chores to the last minute, letting them pile up and then torturing my family with could temper because all of a sudden it’s not just an hours work but a full day! I love this 3in1 idea... so much so I am feeling a shift in the general terrorised feeling I have woken with (today is maintenance day...) to one of taking a more Zen approach. This week especially, after all that has happened, my maintenance list is overwhelming but it needn’t be, when I look, there are many items that are self inflicted tortures that are not even necessary! They need to be let go, struck off or passed to another, after all, life, as tricky as it is, surely is about sharing too?

I’m trying to imagine the amount of time you must need to gift us all these incredibly beautiful and concise Magic Packs Jenna. Thank you so much.... ✨♥️✨

Thank you so much for this reflection, Susie! I really resonate with your insights about the self-inflicted tortures. I notice I have a weird habit, whenever getting ready for a trip, that I suddenly feel that ten million things have to be done before I leave. If I take a step back, I realize that no, none of those things actually have to be done before I leave. They can wait until I get back, or someone else can do them (I LOVE your idea of sharing!), or life will go on just fine even if they never get done.

You've been in my prayers every day these last couple weeks. I hope your heart is holding up okay.

I think I’m putting up a sign saying closed for maintenance Jenna! 😂 There are so many things that I have neglected this week, this is the reminder that I need to get things back on track in all areas. After I’ve had a lie down. 😴

I love it, Louise! 😂 I want to wear that sign around my neck. And, yes, definitely have a lie down before doing any maintenance. I think I'll take your advice and go do exactly that myself right now.

Brilliant idea - sort of a "one ring to rule them all" approach ;) Thanks Jenna!

Once again Jenna, thank you for generous offering. I truly feel the care and beauty you put into your Magic Packs.

As for maintenance, my Moon, Mercury and Pluto are in Virgo. I may be quite organized, but maintaining that can be another issue. And isn't entropy part of life. The ebbing, waning, wilting, even the dying. It seems to be a fine line between what needs the maintenance and what needs to be let go of. I guess it comes down to what is important. My body, home, relationships, creativity. Maintenance seems to be correlated to the my priorities of living a embodied, connected and loving life.

This is beautiful, Julie! You're so good at being embodied wildness, that Luna gal we talked about. Deciding what needs maintenance and what needs to be let go is the really profound question. It occurs to me that, ultimately, maybe it all needs to be let go of, but it's a matter of knowing when. For how long is maintenance appropriate and beneficial? Being alive really does take an enormous amount of discernment, doesn't it?

I have no placements in Virgo at all so maintenance is often a real chore to me but when you frame it as an act of love it appeals to me. So glad I found this page!

Thank you so much, Anna! 🤗 Yep, I'm exactly the same. When I frame it all in terms of relationship and see myself as a steward, it helps so much. (And no Virgo in my chart either!)

As a Virgo I see maintenance as important but also in this chapter of my life, I have to prioritise the most urgent thing and often that is not maintenance so yes a reminder of it’s importance is timely. Your magic pack absolutely blows my mind, it is so generous of you to share this beautiful and thoughtful resource xx

Thank you so much, Lyndsay! 🤗❤️ I hope I didn't cause offense with my generalization of Virgos. I've always been envious of my Virgo friends' abilities to keep things organized. It seems to be a skill that skipped me entirely. Lol. And I also completely understand those times in life when we have to prioritize the most urgent thing. Those are some of my least favorite times. I'm sending you so much peace and calm, Lyndsay, and lighting an extra candle for you. 🙏

Oh gosh no, no offence taken at all. To be honest I’m not the most organised of Virgos (despite being sun and rising!), there are certain things I am a stickler for (attention to detail etc) but I could certainly be more tidy/organised! Yes it is not incredibly spacious in this phase of life but little by little I am finding more time/energy/headspace. Thank you so much for your thoughts, I really appreciate it xx

Oh Jenna, I love what you wrote about maintenance is like tending a relationship...I resonate with that very much. When I love something so much, my children, my partner, I can tend to them and care for them without worry or fuss. It comes naturally. The self maintaining, the self care...ahh well, that is getting better...

and then I wonder what happens to those things that you really care about and want to maintain and yet feel embarassed because your skills are not "up to scratch" or "unlike others" or or or..."Or or or" - they really are just the excuses aren't they. As I'm writing here I am realising that excuses stop me from maintaining the deeper personal parts of me that makes me thrive on a deep personal level... Thank you for inviting us to look deeper within, Jenna. Thank you.

Also, thank you so much for inviting each month a different exploration of ideas, magic and "greater life skills." Blessings to you dearest one.

Gosh, thank you so much, Sam! I love this enquiry about putting things at the bottom of the list that we might not feel that we are "worthy" or "enough" to maintain them. I totally get this. In fact, how much of ourselves have we dismissed outright because of this? Ooooh, this is some good questioning! Thank you for bringing it here!

Thank you for inviting me to Maintain those things in a way that gives them and me honour. It is important to fill our own cup with special things too..."I am worthy.""I am enough..." "I can give this a go and gently feel into it, released of the outcome, just feel into it and enjoy the process."

Thank you Jenna. xxx
